CHEMMAP for ArcView
CHEMMAP
is a chemical dispersion model designed to predict the trajectory, fate, impacts
and biological effects of a wide variety of chemical substances. It includes simple
graphical procedures for entering both wind and hydrodynamic data, specifying
the spill scenario, and running the spill model.
Features:
- Suitable for use in chemical
spill response, contingency planning and evaluating point source discharges.
- Model calculates
spreading, evaporation, dispersion in the water and atmosphere, interaction with
sediments and degradation in three dimensions.
- Easily
interpreted visual displays of concentrations over time.
- Perform
risk assessments for important resources using ArcView's® powerful spatial
operations.
- Biological
exposure model predicts exposed fish and wildlife impacts.
- Extensive
chemical database providing physical-chemical data with linked Material Safety
Data Sheets (MSDS).
Chemmap
is available as an ArcView® GIS Extension or a stand alone MapObjects®
application. Click
